Aqua fun

About
Aqua Fun is a water park in the Stelida area of Naxos, situated just inland from the Ag. Prokopios coastline on the island's western side. It caters to children and adults alike, combining waterslides, pools, sunbeds, and a pool bar in a single venue — the only facility of its kind on Naxos.
What to Expect
The park's setup covers the core water-park essentials: a pool, waterslides with varying degrees of intensity, and a dedicated area for younger children. General admission is €23 for a full day and includes a sunbed, umbrella, pool access, and use of the slides. Children under three enter free. If you're only stopping by for a coffee or a drink without using the water facilities, there's no charge for entry.
Onsite you'll find a café and a pool bar, so there's no need to leave the park for food or drinks between runs down the slides. Discounted tickets are available for families with multiple children, students, triplets, and visitors with disabilities — bring valid documentation to claim those rates at the gate.
With a rating of 4.5 across 456 Google reviews, the park draws consistently positive feedback, which for a purpose-built attraction on a relatively small island points to a reliable, well-managed operation.
How to Get There
Aqua Fun sits in the Stelida area (ΣΤΕΛΙΔΑ), just outside the village of Agios Prokopios on the road that runs along Naxos's western coastal strip. From Naxos Town (Chora), take the main road south toward Ag. Prokopios — the drive is roughly 6–7 km and takes under 15 minutes by car or scooter. Look for park signage near the Stelida junction; the coordinates are 37.0818°N, 25.3542°E. There is parking available on site.
If you're coming from Ag. Prokopios beach itself, the park is only a short drive or a walkable distance inland depending on exactly where you're based.
Tips for Visiting
- Arrive early. Peak summer days can fill sunbed capacity; arriving when the park opens gives you first pick of spots.
- Bring proof of eligibility for discounts. Student IDs, disability cards, and documents confirming triplet families are required at the gate — don't leave them at the hotel.
- Wear water shoes. Paved pool surrounds and slide exits get hot underfoot in the midday sun.
- Check the opening hours before you go. Hours are not confirmed in this listing — call ahead (+30 2285 025050) or check aquafun.gr, especially outside peak July–August weeks.
- Combine with Ag. Prokopios beach. The beach is minutes away; a morning at the park and an afternoon on the sand makes for a natural double-header.
What's Nearby
Stelida sits between two of Naxos's most popular beaches. Ag. Prokopios, to the south, is a long, sheltered stretch of fine sand with calm, shallow water. Agia Anna, further along the same coastal road, offers a more built-up strip with tavernas and rental shops. The village of Vivlos (also called Tripodes) is a short drive inland and worth a stop for a quieter meal away from the beach crowds. For grocery supplies or sunscreen top-ups, several small supermarkets operate along the Ag. Prokopios road.
