Greek Islands
Lesvos
Lesvos is the third-largest Greek island, known for ouzo distilling around Plomari and the petrified forest near Sigri. KTEL Lesvou operates a strict hub-and-spoke network from Mytilene: single long routes run out to Kalloni, Molyvos, Plomari, Agiasos, Vatera, Eresos and Sigri, with no direct links between them. Travelling from one outlying town to another means going back through Mytilene, which can take several hours.
