Patmos

Patmos is where St John is held to have received the Book of Revelation; the Cave of the Apocalypse and the fortified monastery above Chora form a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Patmos Bus, the municipal service running since 1967, departs from directly outside the port at Skala and serves Chora, Grikos and Kampos. Tickets are bought on board, and service is much heavier in summer.
