How to Get Around Paros by Bus (2026 Guide): Routes, Stops, Times & Fares

Paros is one of the easiest Greek islands to explore without a car. Its KTEL network is among the best in the Cyclades, with 12 routes linking the port capital Parikia, the fishing-town-turned-hotspot Naoussa, the airport, the Antiparos ferry at Pounta and a long list of beaches. This guide covers the network, the key routes, tickets and the connections that matter.

The Paros bus network at a glance

The island has two hubs. Parikia — where the ferries dock — has its bus station right by the port, and most routes start here. Naoussa in the north is the second hub, with its own beach routes. The trunk line between the two towns is the busiest on the island.

Tickets and fares

Fares are set by distance and cost a few euros per ride. Buy tickets at the Parikia and Naoussa station kiosks, on board where available, or online through Greek Island Buses — same price, no booking fee, and you board with a QR code on your phone. Getting to Antiparos by bus

Take the Parikia–Pounta bus to the west-coast landing, where the car ferry shuttles across the narrow strait to Antiparos town throughout the day in season. Airport and port connections

Paros airport (PAS) is in the flat south-west of the island, connected by the Parikia–Airport route. The ferry port is in the heart of Parikia, steps from the bus station — arriving by ferry and continuing by bus is genuinely seamless.

Summer vs winter timetables

From roughly April to October the Parikia–Naoussa trunk runs from early morning until late, beach routes run all day, and July–August bring extra evening departures for Naoussa's nightlife. In winter the network drops to an essential service between the main towns and villages, and the beach routes pause. Check the current timetable before planning around a specific departure.
