Alonissos

Alonissos sits inside the National Marine Park of Alonissos–Northern Sporades, Greece's first marine park and a refuge of the Mediterranean monk seal. Its only public transport is a municipal bus from Patitiri port, with two routes: uphill to the Old Village (Chora) and up the east coast to Steni Vala. Service is seasonal and infrequent, and tickets are not sold on board — buy them at the port stop or in Chora and Steni Vala.
